SPORTS PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR AWARDS

The 12th Sports Personality of the Year Awards (SOYA) where outstanding top athletes were feted took place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre. World 3,000m steeplechase champion Hyvin Kiyeng was named the 2015 the Sport Women of the Year and You-Tube Javeller Julius Yego the Sports Personality of the Year. The black tie event was graced by the former Cameroon striker Patrick M’Boma, SOYA founder and International Olympics Committee member, Paul Tergat and Minister of Sports and cultureHassan Wario.
