COMEDIAN CHURCHILL JOINS DETTOL TO MARK GLOBAL HAND WASHING DAY

Kenya’s king of comedy, Churchill will joined Dettol as they mark the Global Handwashing Day with five thousand children at the SOS Children’s Village in Buruburu. The event, was held in concurrence with similar ceremonies across Dettol’s other key global markets is part of an ongoing global campaign to promote handwashing with soap as a way of reducing diarrheal related deaths among children, especially those under 5years.

Considered as the gold standard in germ protection, Dettol has been committed towards spreading the awareness around hand hygiene amongst children across the globe. As a part of the Global Handwashing Day celebrations, Dettol has launched a global campaign Give Life A Hand which aims to make the lives of 1.2B healthier and happier by improving their hygiene habits

The Give Life A Hand campaign will be spread account 19countries in 4 continents each with a common objective of: educating communities on the importance of handwashing. Led by digital, the campaign emphasises on creating a big impact of saving lives by taking small steps like inculcating good hand washing habits.

Global Handwashing Day is an annual global advocacy day dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap as an easy, effective, and affordable way to prevent diseases and save lives.
