AFRO-FUSION ARTISTE ACHIENG ABURA PASSES ON

Achieng Abura passed away today evening at Kenyatta National Hospital.

The singer was known for her hit songs I Believe, Way Over and Sulwe among others.

She was also know for her role as a principal of East African Project Fame in 2008.

Abura won Kora Awards in 2004 for for Best East African Female and also played the role crow for Tinga Tinga tales.

She was also a UNDP goodwill ambassador and part of Divas of the Nile, which featured female artistes Suzanna Owiyo,Mercy Myra and Princess Julie.
