VICTORIA KIMANI TO OPEN A RECORDING LABEL IN NAIROBI

Kenyan singer-songwriter Victoria Kimani has ended her contract with recording label Chocolate City in Nigeria.

Speaking to the singer she said,, “After four years with Chocolate City it was time to leave. Safari was my last album with the label. I intend to come back home and hopefully set up a recording label in the next six months.

When asked if she could renew her contract, she stated it is time for her move on as an independent artiste, “If the offer is an international recording label yes, but I still want to be freelance.

Victoria also made her debut on MTV Shuga: Down South. However don’t expect her to pursue acting as a career, “This does not mean I’m now an actress, if its guest starring I am open for it.”
