HILLSONG UNITED TO PERFORM IN KENYA

Hillsong United, an Australian worship band will be performing in Kenya on September 9 at an event dubbed Hillsong Worship Night at CITAM Karen.

The band which was formed in 1998 as part of Hillsong’s Youth Ministry, consists of several rotating worship leaders from the church, including Brooke Fraser, Joel Houston, Reuben Morgan and Marty Sampson.

Buzz Central has learnt that the group is expected in the country on September 6 for 10 days stay. Apart from the concert they will visit Kenyatta Chidren’s Cancer Wards, Kiserian Children’s Home, primary schools in the informal sector, and Public secondary schools too they will be here for mission work dubbed Hillsong Live in Kenya.

Hillsong United is also known for their hit singles What a Beautiful Name, Oceans and I surrender and Passion among other top hits.
