SAUTI SOL AND FLAVOUR SET TO HEADLINE VALENTINES CONCERT
Flavour N’abania and fan favourite Sauti sol are set to perform live in Nairobi on the Feb 16 at Uhuru Gardens in a live concert dubbed ‘Festival of Love’.
Kenya’s sweetheart Sauti Sol, who just recently concluded their Melanin World Tour have steadily built their international brand maintaining a reputation for heartfelt performances back home, along the way collecting a plethora of awards including MTV EMA Best African Act in 2014, Best Group and Producer of the year AFRIMMA in 2015, the only East African artists to get a BET Award nomination in 2015, Best Group MTV MAMA 2016, Best African group AFRIMMA 2016 and SoundCity MVP 2016.
The band will be joined by the multi-award winning Chinedu Okoli known by his stage name Flavour N’abania a Nigerian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and performer.
Flavour is popularly known across Africa and the world for his hit song “Nwa Baby (Ashawo Remix)”. The album’s success made him one of Africa’s most sought out artists as he is to date being booked to perform at numerous concerts and social events.
As the first major concert in the wake of the heated #PlayKeMusic debate, this concert will be a great platform for Kenyans to meet our new breed of international acts including the Fast rising artist Steph Kapela, the melodious Alicios and feisty Petra also set to give a throw down.
The concert will be hosted by Pascal Tokodi and Kate the actress and on decks will be Crème de la Crème and power-house DJ Dii.
