KENYAN ACTORS RAYMOND OFULA, MELVIN ALUSA & OTHERS BAG TOP FILM ROLES ON NETFLIX MOVIE

It is a big win to Kenyan actors cast who scooped majority of the major roles at British drama film, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind.

Leading the pack was Alliance Boys High School alumnus; Maxwell Simba plays the role of William Kamkwamba in the film, he beat hundreds of other hopefuls to land a role.

Other power house names included veteran actor Raymond Ofula, former Big Brother African contestant Melvin Alusa, Sue and Johnnie actor Martin Githinji, Eddie Mbugua and Robert Agengo.

Maxwell Simba sitted on the right while on location shotting the movie.

Other international casts are British actor and comedian Joseph Marcell, Senegalese born French actress Aïssa Maïga, English actress Noma Dumezweni and Lemogang Tsipa.

The drama film written, directed and starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and is based on the true story of William Kamkwamba, whose handmade invention saved his drought-ridden Malawian village.
