A local talent from Mombasa, Zack the Maestro has always had an eye for the bright lights and cameras. He defied many odds, from a humble Muslim background to become a fully-fledged DJ and entertainer in his own right.

He started as a dancer moving between Nairobi and Mombasa looking for his big break. In his shows he interacted with a lot of musicians slowly finding his passion in Deejaying in 2015.

This passion quickly set him on a path to being a finalist in the recently concluded Smirnoff Battle of the Beats DJ competition.

I have been an entertainer for three and half years now. I am originally from Mombasa and relocated to Nairobi as a dancer in 2012 and slowly discovered I had more skill than just dancing. It has never been easy for me since I moved to Nairobi but my passion and hunger to learn and master the art pushed me.  I thank the lord for everything, in this game I am humble but also a ‘BEAST’,” he explained.

Following his stellar performances on the DJ competition, Zack has taken off literally with he’s recently ended tour in Kampala, Uganda and with rave reviews following his shows the future seems bright for Kenyan’s new entertainer.

Locally he has set in Marquee lounge and XS Millionaires Club among others.

Zack the Maestro’s brand is growing and in a few months we hope you get to sample the music from one of Kenya’s new and exciting entertainers.
