UAP Old Mutual and The Estée Lauder Companies partnered for the month of October to raise awareness on Breast Cancer.

The partnership saw the UAP Old Mutual Tower light up in Pink for the whole month of October as well as support the campaign by the Estee Lauder Companies to encourage people worldwide to take action in the fight against breast cancer.

The campaign culminated with a fundraiser on Power of Pink Luncheon,which was geared towards raising funds in fighting the menace- breast cancer.

The fundraising luncheon held at Hemingways Hotel was graced by cancer victors, media personalities, digital influencers and representatives from the two companies.

At the moment of diagnosis, the life of the patient and their family is changed. The reality of the high cost of treatment causes untold worry, which is compounded by the fact that the standard medical insurance schemes do not fully cover for treatment of such conditions.
