By  |

Kenyan pop group Elani made up of Maureen Kunga, Bryan Chweya and Wambui Ngugi has released their new album dubbed Colours of Love.

The11-track album tells a story of love however it is not the typical depiction of love, it’s a more real approach that is written off their very own lessons learnt in love. “This album uses colour to symbolise the ups and downs of relationships, each colors defines a phase that represent the different stages of a romantic relationship.

Yellow for a new love, fun love, puppy dog love at the onset of a relationship, red for mature love and more committed love beyond simple infatuation.

Grey for shaky love which are the trials and tribulations of relationship, black for broken love and white for hope beyond love basically the light at the end of the tunnel,” said Elani.

The album took three years to complete.
