Kenyan singer Valerie Kimani is expecting her second child.

The mother of one surprised her loyal fans on social media by posting a photo of her pregnancy, “Yeѕ! I still have room to grow. I have a love and hate relationship with memes. I love that they can so easily make me laugh and just as easily make me lazy. Lazy in the sense that it’s easier to pass a meme along than say what I actually feel.

This Mother’s Day was different and special, not just because of my own little bundle, but because the corona isolation has offered me an opportunity to really connect with the people around me.”

Kimani also sent a thoughtful Mother’s Day message to all mums, “So instead of just wishing you a belated happy Mother’s Day, here’s what I actually want to say to you: To the mom who, like me, is bringing a new life into the world during a vulnerable and uncertain time, God’s got you.

To the mom who’s lost your own mom, I hope you feel her especially close. To the mom who doesn’t feel like a good mom, you’ll always be worthy of honour and love just for being a mom.

To the mom who has lost your child or children or had a miscarriage, you will always be your baby’s first love. To the mother of the motherless, you’re a real-life queen. 

February 2018, Valarie introduced the main man in her life through a post on Valentine’s Day, the singer shared a photo of herself and anonymous white man hugging each other, while she is holding his face displaying a gorgeous pearl ring on her ring finger to what is seen as a wedding picture, she captioned “Yes #ii.”
