DIANA ROSS, MICHAEL JORDAN, TOM HANKS AND ELLEN DEGENERES AMONG OTHERS AWARDED THE PRESIDENTIAL MEDAL OF FREEDOM

President Barack Obama honored 21 artists, athletes, activists, scientists and philanthropists with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Which is the nation’s highest civilian honor, among the honorees were Robert Redford, Bill and Melinda Gates, Tom Hanks, Michael Jordan, Ellen DeGeneres and Diana Ross among others.

The Presidential Medal of Freedom recognises their extraordinary contributions to world peace, culture, or other national interests.
