CAROLINE MUTOKO LAUNCHES LEADERSHIP AWARD TO ELEVATE ONE KENYAN YOUTH ONTO THE WORLD STAGE

Media influential personalities Caroline Mutoko is out to reward one brilliant Kenyan aged 18 to 30. Under her newly unveiled Caroline Mutoko Leadership AwardCaroline will fully sponsor one person to attend the One Young World Summit taking place in Bogotá, Colombia, October 4-7.

The final shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and the winning delegate will attend the Summit alongside Caroline and other African leaders such as Thuli Madonsela, the former Public Protector of South Africa and Hassan Bubacar Jallow, Chief Justice of the Gambia and former Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.

Speaking at the event announcing the award in Nairobi, Caroline recalled her personal journey to becoming one of the most sought thought leaders in the field of media and marketing in Africa. She said, “Everything I am today can be traced back to the people who looked past my age, saw my promise and potential and sort only to bring out the best in me. They pushed me, cheered me on and motivated me to do more, to be more. And because I can never pay it back, it’s time to pay it forward.

The sponsorship will include a full delegate pass to the summit, set to provide the attendee with a 360 experience in learning, exposure and networking with 1,200 delegates from 196 countries drawn from all industries and sectors.
