By  |

Ugandan musician Moses Ssekibogo, also known as Mowzey Radio of the Goodlyfe Crew is dead.

Balaam Barugahara, who is one of his managers told a Ugandan publication that Radio breathed his last today morning, February 1 at about 6am.

Radio passed on at Case Hospital in Kampala where he had been admitted after reportedly being beaten into coma following a fight at De Bar, a local hangout spot in Entebbe town last week. The altercation left him with serious head injuries that necessitated a brain surgery.

Up until the time of his death Thursday morning, the Ugandan artiste, who sang alongside Douglas Mayanja, aka Weasel, in the Goodlyfe Crew, had remained in critical state at the health facility.

Last week, the Uganda police said they had arrested five people to help with their investigations into the beating of Radio.

Radio and Weasel are known for songs like Nakudata, Bread and Butter, Magnetic among others.

May his soul rest in peace.
