ZUCHU DENIES SLEEPING WITH PRODUCERS, PROMOTERS AND DEEJAYS FOR FAVOURS

Tanzanian musician Zuchu has denied sleeping with the music industry heavyweights in exchange for favours.

Speaking to Wasafi Media, the Sukari hitmaker said, “Where I am today, I have never slept with anyone in the music industry, not a producer, promoter or a deejay never. No man has even held my hand without my permission. It is possible to get at the top without sleeping a round and women should not fear. While waiting for your big break you should be doing something and when the time comes you are ready to move. Believe in God’s time, wait and do the work.”

September last year, Zuchu addressed rumours that she was in a relationship with Diamond, “Right now I’m good I leave it to God, before I saw it as a disrespect to my boss because he has never hit on me.”

She also said while shooting her music video with Diamond, she was uncomfortable, “It was too uncomfortable shooting the video and to dance with my boss Diamond in a lovey-dovey way, I was shaking a lot. But on set there were so many people who counseled me, they told me it’s my time and I have to do it plus it’s just dancing. We never slept for three days when shooting the video.”
