JOY KENDI ROBBED AT GUNPOINT

Content creators Joy Kendi on Sunday, June 13 disclosed that she was robbed at gunpoint in Nairobi. In a video shared on her Instagram stories, the bloggers says she was walking to Westlands as part of her routine workout when the unfortunate incident occurred. 

Kendi disclosed that she was accosted by two men on a motorbike and and robbed of her belongings. “The reason I’m bringing this us is because I feel it’s good to share it as a PSA. Be safe when you’re going for your walks or runs especially us females.

If you guys remember I had mention that I would be walking to Westlands as part of my workout but on my walk I was robbed at gunpoint by two guys on a bike so if you going to your walks please be safe and don’t carry expensive things,” she said. 

This came about two months after popular actor Ainea Ojiambo fired his gun twice in public after two young men tried to snatch his silver necklace.  According to a CCTV footage, the actor could be seen chatting with a lady outside a retail store before he was attacked by two young men. Ojiambo can be seen pulling out his gun as the two muggers scampered for safety.
