ACTOR DADDIE MARTO AND WIFE KOKU LWANGA WELCOME SECOND BORN BABY

Actor Martin Githinji, alias Daddie Marto and his wife, Koku Lwanga are the newest celebrity couple in town after welcoming a newborn baby. Through his Instagram page, the actor disclosed that his wife welcomed their bundle of joy a few minutes past 2am on Monday, August 30. 

Daddie Marto added that their baby is ‘fine, feeding and sleeping’ and his wife is recuperating well following the delivery. “Ladies and gentlemen, weighing in 3.385kgs, at 02.15am on August 25th 2021 our bundle of joy landed. Took time to readjust and get to know him, baby is fine feeding and sleeping, daddy is tired but hanging in there, mommy is taking the biggest hit but it was expected, so all is well. We are indeed blessed,” wrote the actor. 

Lwanga also put up a social media post expressing gratitude for successfully welcoming her baby, “You can see the trauma in my face. I was tired. Literally got shivers after birth. It wasn’t fatal but whoa took me through the wringer. I chose this hair style because it’s the only one that could survive the labour ordeal. Anyway I have my baby and I’m thankful,” she wrote. 

This comes months after Daddie Marto announced their second pregnancy.  In a Q&A session in January 2020, the actor disclosed that the pregnancy was still in the early stages but they are excited about the whole journey. “Early stages, most people share such news after the first trimester, we came out coz of the nature of our job and how pregnancy affects her badly. We hope it will be different this time. Despite all, she understands that the job must be done.”  

Adding, “That is why I really love and respect (my wife) despite everything we go through that puts us on opposite sides. We sometimes agree on a bottom line and we progress.”
