‘AS WOMEN WE SHOULD NOT BE INTIMIDATED’ SHAY DIVA GETS HER TOYOTA V8 BACK AFTER SERIES OF COURT BATTLES (VIDEO)

Musician Shay Diva has repossessed her Toyota V8 after being dragged to court for allegedly transferring the car ownership to herself illegally. The musician was accused of logging into tycoon Pankaj Kumar Dhodia, alias PJ Kumar’s NTSA account and transferring the ownership of the vehicle to herself. 

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Cheptoek Boyo, Shay maintained that the vehicle legally belongs to her. “The car is mine and they know it’s mine, but you know there are those kind of friends who are trying something. Let me tell you one thing, I think as women we should not be intimidated by the police or anyone in this world, if I got intimidated I would have lost it all but I’m here driving my car because the truth is, the car is mine,” she said.  

She further denied claims that she logged into the tycoon’s NTSA account and changed the ownership of the vehicle, she said she had lengthy discussions with Kumar before he succumbed to COVID-19. “First of all I don’t work with NTSA and they did not report that they were hacked, we followed the right procedure. If NTSA would come out today and say, ‘she hacked into our system’ that’s a different thing,” she said. “We did it (change the car ownership) in February and what people do know it’s that I have a whole conversation with Mr PJ just before he died.”  

In a past interview with a local publication, Shay disclosed that she first met Kumar in 2015 but she was not keen on getting into a relationship with her. However, two years later, she bumped into Kumar in a casino in Nairobi, started talking and eventually ended up dating. 

“I was single. He told me his family is in the UK and had not come to Kenya for over 10 years, so he was lonely. I didn’t mind daring him. A week later, he invited me to Kitale. He laid for my flight and we went to a casino in Eldoret,” said Shay. 

A month into dating, Shay moved into Kumar’s Kitale home and over years she was gifted up to three mansions in Diani, Kitengela, and Eldoret. “He treated me like a queen. He always wanted to give me the best. He bought me three mansions in Diani, Elgon View estate in Eldoret and Kitengela where I stay when I’m in Nairobi. I’m also building my retirement home in Kitale. He knew I was a smart woman and I was taking good care of him,” she added. 

Shay disclosed that Kumar bought her her first car, a Toyota Auris, in 2019 during Valentine’s Day. She received her second car, a Toyota Prado V8, in April after reportedly suffering a miscarriage.
