‘I PAID THE BILL ON THE FIRST DATE’ MILLY CHEBBY DISCLOSES HOW SHE MET TERENCE CREATIVE
Celebrity couple Terence Creative and his wife Milly Chebby have disclosed how they met and subsequently got into a relationship. Speaking in a video published on Chebby’s YouTube channel, she said they met in 2013 while working at Churchill Show.
“I met Terence in 2013 and I remember J Blessing had posted on Twitter and said, ‘guess who will be the director of the return of Churchill Show’ and so I texted J Blessing and told him I’m looking for a job and he asked me what I could do and I told him I can do backstage management and he invited me for a meeting for the production team,” Chebby said.
On their first encounter the content creator said the comedian was kind to her, “I went to the meeting and when I was walking into Carnivore, I saw Terence. During the meeting he kept staring at me and he was dark cute at the time. On the first day of the shoot, I got to the location, I met him again and he was so kind to me,” added Chebby.
But Terence said he wasn’t interested in getting into a relationship at the time because he was healing from a failed relationship. “At the time we didn’t talk about being in a relationship because it was the same time I was going through a hard time and I was confused because I was from another relationship and it was not ringing on my mind that I need this lady to settle or have something like that,” he said. Adding; “On the first night I showed her around and I later asked for her Facebook handle and she left for her place in Pangani and I went to a casino in town.”
It was on the same day when Chebby got a call from Terence who had taken it from the production’s WhatsApp group. Fortunately, Chebby was later moved to the creatives department. “I got to the house and before I slept I got a call from Terence and I would hear noise in his background and I used to question myself where he got the energy of going to the casino after Churchill Show.
I lost my job as a backstage manager and I was moved to the creatives department. I would spend a lot of time with Terence and we would share stories. On the last show before we broke for elections, I was booking a seat for someone at Carnivore and I borrowed Terence’s sweater and placed it on the seat. When the person arrived the sweater got lost,” said Chebby.
The duo later reunited after the elections period and after their first date, Chebby invited the comedian to her house where he ended up living for a while. “After the show, Victor Ber dropped us at The Bazaar and we went to Highlands Hotel for our first date, I paid the bill and I invited him to my place but I told him he will sleep on the couch. We got a taxi and left for my place. We got to the house and my roommate, Jackie Matubia was going out for a date and she was surprised because she had never seen me with a man,” she recounted. Terence later moved into the house and proposed to Chebby after five years of living together.
