MICHELLE NTALAMI DEFENDS CHIKI KURUKA AGAINST CLAIMS SHE WAS INVOLVED WITH EX-LOVER MAKENA NJERI 

Dancer and fitness trainer Chiki Kuruka has responded to claims that she is involved in a relationship drama between social media influencer Michelle Ntalami and former BBC journalist Makena Njeri. 

Two days ago, Ntalami put up social media posts announcing her break up with Njeri, accusing them (Makena)of cheating on her with multiple partners; one said to be a health worker and another one a married celebrity. Following the social media posts, the health worker was identified while a section of social media users claimed Chiki was the married celebrity at the centre of the split. 

However, reacting to the claims, the dancer dismissed the claims saying she has never had a relationship with a non-binary person or a woman. “I would normally ignore this but I guess I have time right now. Let’s do this, let’s tag the people you are chatting about because as far as I’m aware, Michelle Ntalami has never mentioned my name in her messages. I have never had a relationship with either a non-binary person or a woman,” she stated. 

Chiki who is married to Sauti Sol lead singer, Bien-Aime Baraza noted that her close relationship with members of the LGBTQ community has misled Kenyans placing her at the centre of the drama. “Instead I have always given my support to a community that I greatly love and respect. But this implore is starting to irritate me, not because my in-laws have to respond to this BS but because humans like you put allies off speaking up,” she added. 

Ntalami also joined the conversation, stating that Chiki was not the married celebrity accused of having an affair with Njeri. “I want to be very clear and clear Chiki’s name from the two persons I alluded to in my open letter. Neither of them is her. Additionally, the hurt caused has less to do with who the two are and more to do with ‘them’ and I. Ultimately, the decision to be faithful will always boil back down to these two people in the relationship. That said, keep shinning your light @chikikuruka! As a fellow alley, I see and love what you are doing for the company and community! I will always be there in truth and in spirit,” wrote Ntalami.
