MUSICIAN VALERIE KIMANI NOW A RELATIONSHIP COACH

Valerie Kimani has announced that she is now a relationship coach after successfully completing her coaching certification. Through her Instagram page, Kimani shared the new development, “I’m now ready to announce that I’ve successfully completed my next coaching certification- relationship coaching.,When I told (my son) Zion what certification I was getting next he said ‘mom, I think you should work on your relationship first’,” she wrote. 

Valerie also said her relationship coach certification was inspired by her marriage which was on the rocks. “I needed a minute to process that painful reality. My marriage was failing. This picture was taken to celebrate our engagement. It’s taken about 7 years + near divorce to start to experience the real intimacy we both deeply desired. What Zion doesn’t know yet (because he’s 11 obviously) is that it only takes one person to change the dynamic of a relationship.,Not the ‘right’ partner. Or the ‘better’ partner,’ she wrote. 

Adding, “The willing partner/s. So yes I need to work on my relationships so they can improve. But my relationships don’t need to improve before I start working on them. Change starts with me. What I bring to the relationship. That’s the good news. It’s also the bad news. It’s so much easier to blame than to take responsibility isn’t it?”

She went ahead to note that she will start her sessions by working with four couples come January, 2022, “So you can come to coaching with your partner or you can come on your own. What I know for sure is that someone needs to show up for the relationship if real change is desired. I’m accepting only 4 couples to start working in January 2022,” she concluded.
