BBC JOURNALIST FERDINAND OMONDI WEDS CAROLINE NJERI IN COLOURFUL WEDDING
BBC correspondent Ferdinand Omondi is officially off the market. The journalist married his fiancée Caroline Njeri Ng’ang’a in a beautiful white wedding on New Year’s eve.
Omondi shared photos from their wedding, “Happy New Year. Nothing but joy, and gratitude and satisfaction in my heart. God has blessed me in ways I cannot imagine. I could not close 2021 and open 2022 in a better way if I tried. Let’s do life together, @iamcarolinenganga I love you very much, and cannot wait to celebrate milestone after milestone with you by my side,” he wrote.
On the other hand, Njeri shared a photo alongside Omondi noting that she was grateful for the love and support. “What a beautiful way to start off 2022. I look forward to conquering the world in the wonderful company of my best friend @ferdyomondi. Glory be to God,” she wrote.
Omondi proposed to Caroline in July 2021 as the rest of the country was marking Eid Ul Adha. Taking to Twitter, the journalist who was popularly known as Mule on Tahidi High announced that she had accepted his hand in marriage. “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13. She said yes.” he posted.
While she Njeri posted, “Like Mary in Luke Chapter 1, my soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my saviour, for God has looked with favour on the lowliness of the almighty’s servant. Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed; for the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is God’s name. God’s mercy is for those who fear God from generation to generation. God has shown strength with God’s arm.”
