DEBBIE ASILA MOURNS MOTHER’S DEATH
Singer Debbie Asila is in mourning after the death of her mother Jane Nellie Asila who passed away on Valentine’s day.
Jane died after battling a long illness. According to the obituary, “Friends and relatives are meeting at CITAM Valley Road (Richard Bombay Hall) today Friday 18/02/2022, and Monday 21/02/2022 from 5.30 pm for funeral arrangements. A”virtual service presided by CITAM will be held on Saturday 19/02/2022 at 6pm.” Radio personality Shaffie Weru took to social media to mourn her, “Rest well mom,” he said.
Nellie is survived by her husband Paul Asila, daughters Reba Sijenyi, Eunice Asila, Debbie Asila and Elam Asila. There will be a fundraising on Tuesday 22/02/2022 at All Saints Cathedral at 5.30 pm to offset the medical bills and burial costs. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday 24/02/2022 at 10.00am at CITAM – Valley Road. The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday 25/02/2022 at 6.00am for burial at her home in Ebusiralo Ematenje, Luanda, Bunyore on Saturday 26/02/2022.
