‘I PAID SH600,000 FOR MY LIPOSUCTION’ MURUGI MUNYI REVEALS

Content creator Murugi Munyi aka Yummy Mummy says she paid a whopping half a million for her liposuction surgery.

Speaking in an interview, she said made the decision to do the surgery as a birthday gift to herself, “For me the decision was pretty simple, I have been trying to lose weight for a long time. After I had my last born I was 120kgs, the size of a small horse and I was like obviously I have to do something. I went to the gym and on diet for over a year and I dropped to 90kgs. I started noticing there are some parts of the body that will never be the same. It started to make me discouraged, I decided to go for the liposuction because I had the money and as my birthday gift which is next week.”

The mother of three said she spent almost Sh600,000 for the surgery, “I was like let me treat myself, you work for it or pay for it. That is money that has come out of me earning, it was just under Sh600,000. It was actually quite affordable compared to other facilities in Kenya. I did it and now I am in the recovery process. I feel I have 100 times more confidence and every time I wake up I am not concerned about this one thing that bothered me. I want to write my own narrative that’s why I am posting online.”
