JULIANI EXPLAINS WHY HE HASN’T BEEN BOOKED FOR SHOWS IN 10 YEARS

Popular Kenyan Rapper Juliani has opened up about his music career and revealed the reasons why he has not been booked for any shows in 10 years. 

The musician took to his Twitter account and said, “Okay! Wacha ni open up. Some years ago even now I hardly get booked for gigs so I create my own.  For the last 10 yrs. Please note, I have broken even with minimum 3K attendance.  Lakini this time ni soft life finally booked. Jeshi yangu ya mwambao si tufanye mambo.

Some of the reasons why, I hardly get booked. 1) Openness on my ideologies. 2) wase waezi afford. 3) assumption on my number. 4) people assume I am “preachy” yet with my live set I have the most fun. Okay and a lil preaching! budah! Hakuna noma just saying.”

Juliani also claimed he was blacklisted by the media, “Been on this for 10 yrs G ni venye had to take time off. Was told about this juzi. Apparently kulikua na media blackout of my stuff. But iko nini…hivyo hivyo. “I am still Juliani.” Baaaana! Was to be there last year was booked but singeweza. Wacha tuone niaje. Campus tour ilininyonya mbaya. Financed and whole 15 uni tour.”

He says he has changed his style of performing and he is not as preachy, “Team ni muhimu zaidi funding bora sio grant iwe investment ni better. Hii ni marathon G. Building businesses not trending events. Kwa concert I am not as preachy by the way na understand the assignment. Positively entertain.”
