ACTRESS NICE GITHINJI SHARES HOW SHE WAS CONNED AND DATING MULTIPLE PEOPLE

Kenyan actress and producer Nice Githinji, has narrated how she started acting immediately after completing high school, “When I finished high school, I started acting. Some guys from Planets Theatre came to my school to perform, and one of the guys had been in my school the previous year. I asked her about the acting industry, and she gave me her number, and that was it. By 17, I was out of home living on my own and doing shows.”

In a wide-ranging interview with Buzz Central, Nice talked about her life experience while living in Nairobi and recalled an incident where she fell into the hands of cons and was scammed money for her rent and deposit fees after a rogue agent tricked her to rent a house that was already occupied.

“I was looking for a house in south B. I got one, paid rent plus the deposit fee, and everything was ready. My friend and I went to clean the house, we found a whole family and furniture inside. Even a child was crying outside. Up to this day, I don’t understand what it was because for weeks and even the previous day, I was there, and it was empty. The agent was nowhere to be seen.”

When asked whether she is currently in a romantic relationship with anyone, Nice acknowledged that she embraces an open relationship and currently has multiple partners. “I am not big on commitments and ownership. I have a very big heart that has the capability of loving a couple of people at the same time. Being with one person means paying attention. I have been dating since I was 18, and everyone I dated, we lived together and stayed not less than three years. It was like moving from one marriage to another. I was in a string of marriages, and now I am trying to find out who I am.”

Nice says that she is a pet and plants lover. She currently has four cats, but she wishes she had more animals like dogs. “I am an animal and plants person. I just have four cats because I don’t have a bigger compound for more animals. I like animals and plants because they are easier to deal with, they are more honest and direct.”

Nice, who lost her mother years ago, disclosed that she dearly misses her parental love and tender care. She says that she is a protege of her mother, and sometimes people always remind her that she looks like her mum.
