SARAH KABU BEGS SIMON FOR FORGIVENESS AFTER EXPLOSIVE INTERVIEW

Bonfire Adventures Managing director Sarah Kabu has begged her husband Simon for forgiveness after doing a viral interview. Taking to social media, Sarah said she would like to sort their issues offline,

“Sorry my fam. When I was in distress, I said things that I shouldn’t have said online and thus misleading. Life is a lesson and we learn everyday. Forgive me Simon. Let’s sort our issues off-line. All is well. Please keep us in prayers, marriage works.” She posted.

In the viral interview, Sarah said they have been having issues in their marriage for over 10 years. “Seventy percent of what is in social media are blissful and beautiful good times we have had, but we’ve also had our bad times, which we don’t show on social media. Sometimes when I meet people and they tell me that I inspire them and we are a couple goals, but maybe at that time I’m going through issues and problems myself. I would meet some very simple couples who are inspired by me, and they tell me they look up to me. But I wished I could have that simple life, peace of mind, and simple love. Sometimes I sit back and wish I were them,” she said.

She says she became fed up with Simon and had resorted to a peaceful separation, but things took an unusual turn when it turned out to be of public concern. “My new year resolution was to break away from marriage problems. I started discussing with him a peaceful separation and co-parenting, but I did not want my marriage to inspire other marriages to break. They are things we should not have done, but we screwed up.

What I would like to tell young couples is, don’t fake things and don’t  lie to yourself. If things are not working, speak out. Don’t marry a man and expect things to change. There are some personalities that we are born with that we can never change. The challenges I have gone through if I was to talk about it I don’t know how many women have gone through such.”
