Kenyan musician Stivo Simple Boy is enjoying some feat of success in the music industry after signing up with a new record label and a few months ago. In a wide-ranging interview he talked about his love life and swore to remain a virgin until God sends the chosen one, who will be his lifetime partner.
Speaking to Mungai Eve, the Freshi Barida crooner said that he opted to remain pure until he gets married because physical intimacy is only reserved for those who have solemnised their union in holy matrimony, according to the Bible.
“Swala la mapenzi inafaa ifanywe kama mtu umeoa ama umeolewa. Kuna msemo inasema ‘watoto wetu wamekua daladala kila mtu huingia ndani, hawafungi bakuli wanawacha hivyo wazi.’ These days, ladies trick people because they love you when you have money.” He said.
Stivo confessed that he parted ways with her ex-girlfriend Pritty Vishy because of her stand when it comes to sex. He says she had a huge uncontrolled appetite and couldn’t manage to embrace purity until marriage. “Wasichana wanasema joto joto but mimi nikasema la mpaka ile siku atakuwa mschana mzuri, tufanye ndoa na hio raha tutafanya. She didn’t want to listen. She left me because I refused sex.”
When asked if they will revitalise their union, he says that Pritty needs to change his behaviours for him to reconsider mending their relationship.
