BBC JOURNALIST MAYA HAYAKAWA ANNOUNCES SECOND PREGNANCY
BBC journalist Maya Hayakawa is expecting baby number two! Maya took to her social media account to announce her second pregnancy. She posted a boomerang video of herself holding her bump during her show, Money Daily that airs on BBC News. “Back with a bump,” she captioned the video.
In march this year, Maya celebrated her son’s birthday who turned 16 years old, “Okay, I can’t keep Calm! My not so little one woke up a year older today! happy sweet 16 sixteen to my soulmate, to my best friend, to my Rock, to my world, to my everything! You know how much I love you. No matter how old you get, you will always be my baby boy. May all your dreams come true my son! @amarihayakawa.”
In 2019, Hayakawa disclosed that she got pregnant at 15 and gave birth to her son Amari two weeks before she turned 16, “I got pregnant at 15, and gave birth just 2 weeks after my 16th birthday, and it changed the course of my entire life. I love that I gained my best friend. There may be challenges in motherhood, but no regrets. I think the girls in #TheSheWord feel the same.” She said.
