PRITTY VISHY TALKS TAKING CARE OF AUTISTIC SISTER

Stivo Simple Boy’s ex-girlfriend Pritty Vishy knows only too well the ups and downs of caring for loved ones with disabilities. Pritty opened up about taking care of her younger sister who has a severe case of autism.

Speaking in an interview with Mungai Eve, Vishy said her sister was diagnosed with the condition when she was a year old, “When my small sister was born she never cried and her neck was somehow tilted. After a year, we started noticing her doing weird things. One day we found her eating a rat and she was laughing. My mum took her to the hospital for evaluation and she was told she has autism.”

Pritty also revealed her mother is not in the country and her nine year old sister is currently at a boarding school in Busia but she is not doing well, “My mum used to cry daily because of my sister before she went to Saudi Arabia. My sister is in a boarding school in Busia and ever since she changed schools she has lost weight. I want to bring her back to Nairobi but she needs a special diet and I have bills to pay. I want by the time I bring her I should be financially stable. She has been in school but nothing has changed.”
