Socialite Amber Ray has opened up on how she found herself dating married men. Amber dated Zaheer Jhanda, the Member of Parliament for Nyaribari Chache Constituency and Jimal Marlow, the Chairman of Association of Matatu Operators in Kenya.
According to her, she did not know that Zaheer was married because he did not portray the behaviours of a married man, “He never mentioned he was married and he never showed me he was married, if you sit with someone and see how they receive phone calls you can tell. He would even leave me his phone and tell me, if someone calls, I pick.”
Zaheer moved her out of her parents house and got her an apartment in Valley Arcade. The MP also furnished the house and later bought her a Mark X which made her believe he was the man for her. Amber Ray later found out he was married in a dramatic turn of events, “He got up quickly and said he was coming if anyone knocks the door I should not open. After a while I heard commotion outside and then someone forced their way in through the gate, it was the wife. She explained that she had also come with their child who was outside crying because of the drama and that is how I found out.”
She broke up with him but they later got back together, Amber ended the relationship when his wife got pregnant again, “I knew I had to wake up, this was nonsense I was doing.” But things turned chaotic when his wife brought women to her workplace to beat her up. Amber sat down with the wife and explained that it was Zaheer who was after her but she would not let it go. She took their beef to social media, “I didn’t like it when she started fighting me on social media.”
On dating Jimal, she said he told her he was divorcing his wife Amira and she apparently was okay with it, “That is why we were comfortable posting each other on social media.” She swore never to date a married man again and said she is open to hiring an investigator to confirm if they are truly single.
