‘YOU’RE AN IDIOT’ SAUTI SOL’S BIEN SLAMS ERIC OMONDI

Sauti Sol’s Bien has called out comedian Eric Omondi after he said foreign music is dominating in the country, “Apple Music, the top 89 are Nigerian, 9 American and only 2 Kenyan! There is no shortcut! lazima mutaniskia by force ama you’ll remain in that position. Same thing kwa ground. Since October last year there have been 26 Major Concerts in Nairobi, 23 were all headlined by foreign artists of which two I fought for with blood and sweat almost literally!” Omondi said.

Insisting that Kenyans should include showbiz if they’re to beat foreigners, “Until you listen this will only get worse! The formula is simple and I have said it only a million times! showbiz! showbiz! showbiz!” 

In his response, Bien told off the comedian claiming that comedy is even in a worse condition than music, “Because where is your Netflix comedy special. Or whatever metric they use to measure success in comedy. You take out your steam on music while comedy is on its deathbed. Useless burukenge. You’re an idiot. Honestly, what are you even saying? 95% of the artists on that list are not doing gimmicks. They’re simply putting out songs. Show me a gimmick in my life. I have only always made music.
