LILIAN MULI ON WHY SHE KEEPS HER KIDS OFF SOCIAL MEDIA

Media personality Lilian Muli recently appeared on Citizen Digital and opened up about certain aspects of her life. She mentioned that she prefers to refrain from posting her two sons on her Instagram account and explained why she believes it is a good idea.

According to Lilian, the choice to keep her kids off social media to protect them from trolls and bullying, “I won’t let them go through what I went through. Never ever! And by virtue of them being associated with me of course that attention will be drawn to them unnecessarily. So I want them to be normal kids in their schools and live their quiet life,” she explained.

On the qualities she wants her kids to grow up with, Muli said, “I’m raising my kids to be very confident men, I always tell them they have to be successful so that when I am an elderly woman they can take care of me, so I want them to be confident, successful and good men to their women.”

The mother of two also described her children as typical kids with sibling fights but her nannies help her out with keeping the kids in check, “I have two nannies. It’s a lot and I’m a busy person so I can’t do it by myself, my favourite space is my bedroom, sometimes when they’re just too much I retreat to my bedroom and I let the nannies handle that drama. I work so hard and there are so many things I do away from my day job and balancing that is tricky but I have had to have a conversation with myself on how to manage my time so that I don’t delegate mummy duties to my nannies.”
