MUTHONI WA MUKIRI AND HUSBAND CELEBRATE FIRST ANNIVERSARY

Former news anchor Muthoni Wa Mukiri and husband Isaac Njoroge celebrated their first year as a married couple. Mukiri took to her Instagram stories and shared pictures of her wedding and captioned, “Awwww can’t believe it’s been 12 months already. It’s been an amazing first year with my ride or die.”

Muthoni and Njoroge tied the knot in November 2021 in a lavish wedding attended by close friends and family. Through her social media platforms, the media personality shared a photo from her wedding posing alongside her hubby. “Ecclesiastes 3:11 .He has made everything beautiful in its time. #MrandMrsNjoroge,” she captioned the photo. 

In a separate post, Mukiri shared a photo of her bridal team appreciating them for giving their best. “My support system. The best team. God sent. These ladies have walked with me since my engagement in February. I feel blessed to have such a supportive team. No drama or unnecessary attitude. I felt supported and loved. I didn’t have to push any of them to do anything. They made it so easy for me… You are a blessing to me and I will forever be grateful to you for holding my hand during a time when I really needed it,” she added. 

Speaking in her YouTube channel, Muthoni stated that she first met him at a corporate event where she had been invited by one of her friends. “A friend of mine invited me to a ‘chama’ party. I took my friend Teacher Wanjiku and we went to the party. It was in the evening around 7pm and Isaac was seated under a shade but I could still see him, I didn’t think much of him but eventually he came over and told me, ‘hey you have such a beautiful smile, I’ve been watching you from the far end’, and yeah, the rest is history,” she said.
