NANA OWITI SHARES HER SECRETS TO A SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGE

TV host Nana Owiti has advised her fans on the importance of patience in marriage.

Taking to social media, Nana shared a picture of her family saying their journey has not been easy. “This was just not a goal but a dream. I dreamt of this and I prayed for it. I’m beyond blessed to experience it. Many times, people will point out how good we have it. Others will ask how we did it but verily I say unto you this is just an end product. Don’t focus on that. It’s been pure work behind the scenes. 

It’s been blood, sweat and maaaaany tears. It’s been loads and loads of prayers but that you probably won’t see. As a generation, let’s not focus much on the end product. Let’s walk into partnerships knowing it’s gonna take a lot. Let’s not be quick to run away at the first sign of a rumble strip on the road. It’s indeed a road with so many signs. Let’s not give up too soon.”

In a past interview, Nana opened up on her husband King Kaka cheating on her with musician Sage Chemutai, she revealed she dumped him for months before they reunited, “It was painful, it was almost like an ultimate betrayal. We are all flawed, his mistake was that but even me I had my mistake. As much as he did that and I stayed with him because of what transpired after, he said sorry and proved he was sorry. We broke up for seven months and got back. I speak to Sage once in a while but we are co-parenting. There are those days I remember and it’s not easy to forgive someone who you gave your heart.”
