COSTA TITCH, NVIIRI, BENSOUL AND HARMONIZE SET TO PERFORM AT SOLFEST

Sauti Sol have released the full lineup of artistes that will perform at the second edition of Sol Fest which will be held on December 17 at KICC.

Dubbed Solfest Class of 2022, this year’s edition includes artistes like: Costa Titch, Nviiri, Bensoul, Harmonize, Nadia Mukami, Octopizzo, Buruklyn Boyz, Fena Gitu, Matata, Brandy Maina and Charisma. Deejays set to grace the stage are: Fully Focus, Kaneda, Grauchi, DJ Lordwin,DJ KK, CNG and Dream. The MC of the event will be Exclusive. In early November, the group announced that they had already sold out limited early bird tickets ahead of the much-anticipated concert.

On December 5, SolFest management announced they had moved the event from Fox Drive-In to KICC to ensure the safety of their fans. “SolFest is moving to a new venue for its 2022 edition, and we are happy to announce that we shall be partnering with the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) to host this year’s event on December 17th 2022.”

According to the organisers of the concert, Fox Drive-In area has had a significant increase in criminal activity, “Sol Fest Corporation’s number one priority is the safety of our patrons, artists, and partners. Following consultation with our security service providers, who have also consulted with various security agencies, it was established that the areas surrounding the previous location of choice for SolFest (Fox Drive-In, Thika Road), has had a significant increase in criminal activity over the recent months.

Having had a secure event in 2021, it is in retaining our security standards and ensuring that the location is fit for all stakeholders that deemed it necessary to change the venue from Fox Drive into KICC. We appreciate your patience and look forward to having a great and safe time with you at Sol Fest,” the statement read.
