CONTENT CREATOR MARWA TO CHARGE SH126,000 FOR YOUTUBE COLLABORATIONS
Popular Youtuber Fredrick Marwa popularly known as I am Marya on social media, has revealed his expensive rate card for YouTube collaborations.
He says he will be changing a whopping Sh126,000 per video, “I will be charging $1000 for any type of YouTube collaboration.”
Adding, “Nobody will force me to do what I don’t want. Let everyone carry their own cross, my problem is I am too accessible.”
Marwa who started content creation in 2016, told Presenter Ali he had no idea he would be earning money, “I was still in the University and one of the guys got an opportunity to go to Colombia. I had already told the guys I wanted to travel the world and two months down the line I was in Colombia. I started making my content there, I was telling the story of a black person in Colombia. When I started making the videos I had no idea I would make money or be famous. In 2016 there were not many YouTubers, it was all out of passion.”
Early this month, the YouTuber built his neighbour a three-bedroom house in less than 10 days. Taking to his Instagram page, he posted the progress of the house while asking his fans to choose the colour for the house. “Which colour should we paint Mama Ann’s house? For the new fans here, me and my YouTube fans decided to build Mama Ann this beautiful cute house in less than 10 days. Now we want to paint it and we want you to help us decide which colour.” He said.
