DIANA MARUA UNDER FIRE FOR LEAVING HER DAUGHTER IN HOSPITAL TO ATTEND AKOTHEE’S WEDDING

Musician and content creator Diana Marua is facing intense criticism after disclosing she left her sick daughter in hospital to attend Akothee’s wedding.

Marua shared a video of her daughter Malaika in hospital and wrote, “My Family needs me and my friends too. Straight from @akotheekenya ‘s wedding to @komarockmodern where my daughter @Malaika_bahati has been admitted for the last 7 days. About to start my night shift in the ward. Keep us in your prayers. We all wish to see her back home.”

One of her fans commented on the post saying, “Are u trying to tell us uliacha your sick baby kwa ward na nannie ukaenda wedding ya Akothee? Ama ni mimi sielewi anyways,” said Oyando.

Another fan Wendy Benjamin said Malaika needed her more, “Wahu failed to attend the wedding because her baby was unwell na wake hayuko admitted si Baha could have just attended peke yake. I think your daughter needs more juu wedding sio must but anyway this is my take, my thinking you know better. May baby Laika get well soon,” Wrote Wendy Benjamin.

“Enyewe kuwa na pesa nobody judges you unaacha mtoto Kwa ward you dress up to a wedding and nobody will point a finger at you, acha nitafute pesa wivu iniishe aki,” Regina Justins Added.

Gladys Muthoni defended Diana claiming that people were jealous she attended the mega wedding, “Can y’all cut Diana some slack already! Most of the women saying the way she left her sick baby aren’t coming from the side of compassion but jealousy. Y’all wish you could get that invite for the mega wedding. That baby wasn’t in the emergency unit neither was her life in a threatening condition.

Sometimes you have to fill in your cup, you can’t pour from an empty one. Taking that break to go attend that wedding was simply her taking a breather or did you want her to die and then you start saying the way she could have taken some time out etc. Please ladies, quit with the judgement already. It sucks!”
