INSIDE SONAL MAHERALI’S LUXURIOUS MANSION

Real Housewives of Nairobi star Sonal Maherali gave the public a tour of her luxurious home. Speaking to Nailantei Kenga on her show Art of Living, Sonal showed off her expensive finishings. 

In the living room, the mother of four settled for colourful sofas, “I wanted a high wooden ceiling because I didn’t want to feel cluster-phobic. My home is a mix of modern-chic and a representation of who I am. When you look at my living room not all couches are the same colour. I’m trying to clash everything.”

Sonal disclosed she has two kitchens, “My cook uses his kitchen which is outside and the main one is reserved for me. I don’t cook much but I make the best bread and butter pudding which my kids love. The whole kitchen interior is done by the leading luxury brand for kitchens, Poggenpohl.”

For her dining, she went for the ultra modern look and made her spider table the centerpiece. “I never dreamt of living like this but I always say never give up on your dreams. Keep that fire burning and do not let anyone crush it because this girl from South C is here today.”

Sonal’s walk-in wardrobe is filled with designer high heels and handbags from Christian Louboutin, Prada, Gucci, and Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) among other designers, “I waited four years to get a Birkin, the first one I was offered I refused. I made a whole video and asked them to stop being ‘classists’ and give me a bag because I have the money. My first Birkin is worth $18,000.”
