MEET THE CAST MEMBERS OF SINGLE KIASI

The characters in hit reality series Single Kiasi bring to light the realities of most Nairobi women. Mariah, Sintamei and Rebecca who are all in their 30s navigate life and love and lean on each other for support as they go through different experiences. Here’s some more information about each character:

Mariah

She is the most daring of the three ladies. She is an independent woman who enjoys being the center of attention. She wears designer clothes, drinks the finest champagnes and flying private. Mariah’s lavish lifestyle is supported by an older married man called JK. To the outsider, Mariah’s life appears blissful because she flaunts it on social media. However, things on the ground are different. She has struggled with infertility and has had a traumatic past that she is forced to confront and own her scars.

Rebecca

She is a humble housewife and stay-at-home mother of two children. Her life takes a turn for the worse when her husband loses her job and is unable to meet his financial obligations Rebecca is then pushed into the arms of a man she cannot resist and begins having an affair with him. Her story is about freedom, identity and reclaiming your womanhood as a person who has only ever been defined by motherhood.

Sintamei

Most career women, especially those in positions of power, will identify with this character. Sintamei is a career-driven woman who works as a high court advocate.  From the outside, she appears to be a solid woman who is in control of her life but her personal life is quite different. She recently broke up with her husband Kevin after discovering he was marrying another woman.
