FORMER MISS UNIVERSE KENYA RACHEL MBUKI RECONCILES WITH HUSBAND
Former Miss Universe Kenya Rachel Marete Mbuki has reconciled with her husband Dmitry Litvishkova five months after she announced their split.
In a post, Mbuki is happy everything worked well, “So incredibly blessed and humbled to have had my first American national TV appearance as a TV Host/ entertainment journalist the other day. Actually, my first was as Miss Kenya at Miss Universe but this is the one I’ve been working towards! Thank you so much @tmz_tv for the amazing opportunity.
I guess it was also as good a time as any to finally say that my hubby and I reconciled as well. To top it off, getting a compliment from the big boss, Harvey, on my first day on the job is icing on the cake! #dreamsdocometrue #lovewon #lovewins.”
On March 17, she disclosed she had separated from her husband, “It is with much regret that I announce that my husband and I have come to the tough decision to end our marriage. We are currently separated, and I am filing for divorce. Marriage can be tough, and this situation is extremely trying for both of us. This is the part where people usually ask for privacy, but I know that being discussed is inevitable. What I would like to ask for your kindness and consideration while we work through this tough time.”
Mbuki also thanked her close friends and family for their support, “Thank you so much to all my friends, family and fans that have been avid supporters of outs from the past 15 years that we have been together. I know this comes as a shock to you all because you were too invested in us as well, but I hope we can continue to count on your love and support as we transition to this new phase.”she wrote.
On October 22 2020, Rachel and Dmitry tied the knot in Hawaii, “Yesterday I married the love of my life in a traditional Hawaiian ceremony on a beautiful Maui beach. You’re my person, forever,” said Mbuki.
