HUNDREDS OF FANS ATTEND BRIAN CHIRA’S BURIAL

Hundreds of fans flocked to TikToker Brian Chira’s burial who will be laid to rest today at his family’s home in Githunguri in Kiambu county.  Chira was son to the late Sofia Wambui, grandson to Esther Njeri and nephew to Regina Njoki and late Alice Njoki.

“Mainstream is avoiding Brian Chira s Funeral because he was famous without going through the mainstream media gatekeepers. Social Media is the new Mainstream media. You can’t imagine this is the burial of a tiktoker. 5 years ago this could only be the burial of a politician,” wrote Pauline Njoroge.

A day before his burial, fans and friends of Chira have assembled at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary to view his body. Over the weekend, there was a memorial service and tribute ceremony to celebrate his life at Rainbow Resort in Ruiru, “It is with heavy hearts and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of our beloved Brian Chira Wambui, who went to be with the Lord on 16th March 2024 in Kiambu County. In God’s hands, you rest, in our hearts you live forever,” the family announced.

The funeral fundraiser for Chira surpassed Sh7.3 million within only 72 hours since it was launched. The fundraiser is spearheaded by Chira’s close friend and content creator Baba Talisha. “We did it as a team. Mc Chris Kirubi, Team Mwiti, Team Big Daddy, Team Sekena. thank you guys. Four lions, today 7.3M innit,” Baba Talisha said during a TikTok live session.
