ACTRESS AUUDI ROWA SLAMS JACKIE MATUBIA OVER CREDIT RECOGNITION ON TOXIC SERIES
Actress Auudi Rowa has publicly expressed her frustration and disappointment following a dispute with actor Jackie Matubiaregarding proper credit recognition on Matubia’s online series, Toxic.
In a candid statement, Rowa accused Matubia of calling her bitter and insecure for requesting her credits be accurately listed. “Jackie Matubia just called me bitter and insecure because I asked for my credits on her show to be written correctly. Bitter and insecure, and you can’t spell my name correctly? She even said that’s why I can’t go anywhere with my career. You don’t work for a friend’s project with dedication and get this in return. Dunia duara kweli!” said Rowa.
Rowa expressed her discontent with the show revealing Matubia never paid them, “Anyway, watch Toxic on YouTube and make her the money she never paid us. A befitting name for a show for the befitting creator. And no, it’s not banter or a joke. I’m beyond mad. Najicheka tu sasa,” she added.
The actress also responded to Matubia’s insinuations that she is bitter. “‘How can I use you? What is that, you have been used? Like try to put my name and your name…‘ Jackie Matubia told me. So besides being bitter and insecure, I’m a nobody too? So why am I on your show? Wueh, what a Monday. #Triggersactivated,” Rowa continued.
Rowa further stated her intention is to stand up for her rights, “It’s not my fault you are turning into one of the exact monster producers that we said we’d strive to do better than. Even if you unfollow me, I worked on your project with heart and dedication. You wronged me. Period.
I stand up for myself asking for my right, and you attempt to assassinate my character? You really are the mean girl everyone thinks you are. I thought they were wrong, I even voiced as much. Turns out it was just a matter of time before I experienced it myself. Mambo kweli ni mengi… masaa ndio…” she concluded.
