NOONES LEADS THE CHARGE IN RESHAPING FINANCIAL SYSTEMS ACROSS AFRICA

Code Africa’s Ray Youssef, the CEO of NoOnes, a groundbreaking financial communication app, is swiftly emerging as the premier platform to advance the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). Through peer-to-peer technology (P2P), NoOnes directly links Kenya and other regions of the Global South to the world’s financial systems, advocating for financial freedom and equal access.

Youssef revealed the motivation behind NoOnes, fuelled by a desire to combat inequality and empower individuals grappling with financial disparities, particularly in Kenya. P2P technology and cryptocurrencies hold the potential to reshape financial systems and bolster autonomy within the Global South.

NoOnes’ innovative approach to financial inclusion in Kenya, Youssef showcased its provision of over 450 payment methods.

The strategy bypasses conventional banking channels, ensuring transparency and safeguarding financial transactions. NoOnes pledged to redistribute 50 percent of its revenue to users, thereby fostering trust through unparalleled transparency.

Aligned with the goals of the AfCFTA, NoOnes collaborates with stakeholders to seamlessly integrate Kenya and other regions into the global financial landscape, while respecting their distinct needs and aspirations. Youssef emphasized the company’s dedication to self-reliance and to empower nations within the Global South.

Leveraging blockchain technology, NoOnes streamlines financial communications and transactions in regions with limited banking infrastructure, thereby nurturing inclusivity and convenience. Youssef also spotlighted NoOnes’ unique attributes, such as community engagement, transparency, and sustainability, which distinguish it from other financial applications. The platform fosters a community-centric ecosystem centered on philanthropy, not solely profit.
