And thank you for all the messages that received me since yesterday, it‘s great to see all the love and support. It will definitely take some time to be able to describe my feelings and thoughts, but it‘s safe to say that I am beyond grateful for this experience and will come back stronger! Thank you,” Ndolo shared.

Ahead of the competition, Ndolo promised fence my heart out and thanked all who have supported her. “Tomorrow will be the big day. The Olympic women’s Epée individual competition. Only God knows what the outcome will be, but know that I will fence my heart out for each and every one of you who helped me get here.

For everyone who taught me, who sparred with me and even the ones who made it unnecessarily more difficult, you all made me stronger. For my family and my friends. Your love and support carried me and for myself. This road has been long and only few know what it really took to make it. I intend to make every second count and live every moment to the fullest.” She said.
