KUNA KUNA HIT-MAKER VIC WEST INKS DEAL WITH UNIVERSAL

Universal Music Group East Africa has announced the signing of renowned Kenyan record producer and hit-maker Vic West. 

Vic West, whose chart-topping productions have dominated airwaves across Kenya and beyond, is celebrated for his genre-defining sound, blending Kenyan pop, Afropop, and Hip-Hop. His signature production has earned him a massive following, producing hits for top artists and shaping the sound of a new generation of East African African music at large.  

“I’ve always been driven by a desire to push the boundaries of my music and creativity. Signing with UMG EA felt like the perfect opportunity to take my sound to a global platform” Vic West shares.

The signing follows multi-nominated Afro-Indie artist Njerae’s signing, who has been blossoming immensely since joining the music powerhouse.
