MISS TRUDY AND HUSBAND WODE MAYA RELOCATE FROM GHANA
Kenyan YouTuber Miss Trudy and her Ghanaian spouse, Wode Maya, have revealed their decision to relocate to Kenya.
In a recent YouTube video, Miss Trudy shared that she had been away from Kenya for nearly a year, but she is now returning with her husband by her side. “It been one year since I have been in Kenya, my sweet home. We are relocating to Kenya. I love Ghana so much but we have decided to go back to Kenya and give it a chance. I have stayed in Ghana for so long so he needs to stay in Kenya also.”
Popular content creator recently shut down rumours surrounding her marriage to fellow content creator, reassuring fans and followers that they are not getting a divorce.
She explained that the rumours had taken her by surprise, “When you’re worked up or stressed out, you find yourself doing things you don’t usually do. I’ve been traveling and started getting phone calls, I’ve been getting DM’s—guys are warning me. The truth is that everything happening on the internet has caught me by surprise because I did not see it coming. It is life, guys—we all get depressed. I’m not perfect, I have some ups and downs, and things haven’t been easy for me.”
She also discussed the challenges of living in Ghana, where she has faced cultural and environmental differences, “I don’t have friends in Ghana—the food, the weather, the culture is different, so it comes with a challenge. What makes it worth it is if you guys love each other. That’s how I see it from my end.“
Addressing the rumours head-on, Miss Trudy made it clear that her marriage is not on the rocks. “I see guys saying these guys are getting a divorce—God forbid! I don’t wanna get divorced. When I got married, I wanted to be in marriage until the end. I wanna grow old with Maya. I don’t want my honesty to be the reason that someone is seen as wicked. When I say I’m not happy, there’s so many things happening in life and it doesn’t have to be that Maya is the cause of my unhappiness.”
She maintains her commitment to her marriage, “We are not perfect, our marriage is not perfect, but we’re gonna work it out together. You guys do not have the whole picture.“
