MUSICIAN GLORIA MULIRO WEDS EVANS SABWAMI IN NEW YORK
Gospel singer Gloria Muliro is officially off market. The musician and her fiancé Evans Sabwami tied the knot at a small, intimate ceremony surrounded by their friends and family in New York City.
The singer shared a photo of herself and her husband captioning it, “Finally finally. My autumn wedding in New York.” Muliro’s union with Sabwami was celebrated by celebrities on social media, singer Emmy Kosgei congratulated the couple and blessed their union. “Congratulations to my sister Gloria Muliro on your wedding. May God restore all your wasted years. God waits until the cups of your enemies are full. Thank you Jesus, bless this union,” wrote Emmy.
“Congratulations my dear friend @gloriamuliro . Indeed, in his own time he makes everything beautiful. I am happy that he has restored the years that the swarming locust has eaten. May the years ahead be filled with love and joy.” Said Content creator Milly Chebby.
Gloria married Pastor Eric Omba Miko in 2009 in a colourful wedding, but walked out of the marriage, citing infidelity. In July last year, her ex-husband Pastor Eric Omba revealed Muliro got a restraining order against him and he cannot be in the same room with her. “When I decided to move on it was a fight, oh my God, I followed her for a year and a half. I traveled from Nairobi to Ushago to her parents, talked to her sisters and friends trying to repair the relationship.
Bishop Gitonga stepped in to help us reconcile but she said her time is over. She wanted a divorce but I did not want it because I never believed in divorce. I cried like a baby and begged her to come back, I was asking for forgiveness for what I did not even do just because I wanted to win her back. I received a cease and desist letter from her lawyer to stop harassing her and a restraining order to stay 10 meters away when I see her, I cannot be in the same building with her. She blocked all the channels for communication,” he said.
