PASTOR KANYARI CASTS DEMONS FROM ACTOR OMOSH (VIDEO)
Kenyan actor Joseph Kinuthia Kamau, alias Omosh, has trended on social media again after his video of receiving spiritual healing from self-proclaimed city prophet Victor Kanyari of the Salvation Healing Ministry went viral.
It all started with “out in the name of Jesus! Out of the name of Jesus! The devil out in the name of Jesus!” followed by Omosh’s dramatic fall after he was overwhelmed by the holy spirit. The ushers then rushed to rescue him from hitting the ground.
After his deliverance from the devil’s bondage, the veteran thespian addressed the congregants, confessing that he was a sinner before the Lord and perceived that he was being punished for inadequately serving Him.
“Today is a very important day in my life. Friends are like Angels. Yesterday, my friend visited me and convinced me to attend a church service. I didn’t know it was here. I usually attend Redeemed Gospel Church in Komarock, but I decided to come.” He said amid claps from the crowd.
“Nimekaa hapo chini nikaona mambo yangu inaenda mrama kwa sababu sijajenga madhabahu. I am a star lakini siendi sana. Naenda nazimia. Nimepatana na wengi wananiambia ‘Omosh you are a star that is going far’ lakini kumbe na mimi ni madhabahu sijajenga vizuri. Nikichomoka hapa naenda kuomba na niombe. Nisikimbie ndio nitengeneze madhabahu vizuri.” He added.
Thereafter, he was blessed by the controversial ‘panda bengu’ preacher and gifted Sh7,000 with household shopping, among them rice, juice, cooking oil, soap, sugar, salt, and wheat flour.
The video received numerous reactions from netizens who asserted that the act was staged. It resuscitated the already stale story of gospel musician Size 8, who was accused of similar pulpit showdowns. To many, this was Size 8‘s version but acted better. Here are some reactions:
Ezra Mitoko “Omosh is a very talented actor and Kanyari a very director.”
Sinda Matiko “Haha and we are supposed to believe this…. Lakini hii ni kali kuliko Ile ya Size 8. Iko na kauwongo ukweli fulani.”
Andrew Mutai “Omosh never disappointed…Omosh afro-cinema continues shotly.”
Otieno Kevin “Omosh is still an excellent actor.”
