NYASHINSKI’S WIFE ZIA BETT CELEBRATES LATE SISTER’S BIRTHDAY

Businesswoman Zia Bett has penned an emotional message to her late sister Janet Bett who passed away in October 2021.

Taking to her socials, Zia wrote, “Happy 1st heavenly birthday @juicydiaries! I know Heaven needed more angels, which is why they called you there. I just wish they were delayed a bit longer. I miss you every day, but especially today. I know we will meet again in Eternity. I love you so much. Happy birthday, my sweet sister and best friend!”

Janet succumbed to Severe Aplastic Anaemia. While announcing the death of her sister, Zia said “Dance with the angels. I was so blessed to have you”.

In September last year, she had an urgent medical appeal to Kenyans to help her raise Sh10 million for her sister’s treatment abroad, “My sister Janet was recently diagnosed with a rare blood disorder known as Severe Aplastic Anaemia, a life-threatening condition where the bone marrow stops producing enough blood for the body. The doctors have recommended a bone marrow transplant as the best treatment for this condition. Unfortunately, the procedure is not available in Kenya, and Janet will need to travel abroad for the treatment.

The cost of the treatment is approx Sh10 million and will take 4-6 months before she can return back to Kenya. We are appealing for funds as her family and friends to help get her the treatment she urgently needs. We know recent times have been really tough on all but any little you can donate will be greatly appreciated and will help towards getting her treatment and back home to her family.”
